Privacy Policy

Effective: May 16, 2026 · Last updated: May 16, 2026
The short version

We collect what we need to run projects and not much else: your name, your email, the files you send us, and whatever the site's analytics quietly notes about your visit. We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. We answer requests to see, correct, or delete what we hold within 45 days. The full list of what, why, and how long is below.

01 Who we are

"We," "us," and "CMYK Ink" mean THE PRINT GROUP, LLC, doing business as CMYK Ink, a creative studio based in Phoenix, Arizona, at 3850 E. Indian School Rd. You can reach us at hello@cmykink.io or 480-216-4319. This Privacy Policy covers cmykink.io and any service we provide that links back to it.

02 What we collect

We collect personal information in three ways: you give it to us, the site collects it automatically, or a tool we use sends it back to us.

From you, directly

  • Contact information when you fill out a form or email us: name, email, phone number, company.
  • Project information when we work together: briefs, files, logos, photos, content, anything you upload.
  • Payment information when we invoice you: billing address and the routing your bank sends us. We don't store full card numbers; our payment processor does that.
  • Anything else you choose to send us in conversation: a thought, a complaint, a question.

Automatically, when you visit the site

  • Your IP address, device type, browser, operating system.
  • Pages you visited, how long you stayed, where you came from.
  • Cookie and similar storage data (the Cookie Policy lists every one).

From third parties

  • Analytics providers (the names are in the Cookie Policy).
  • Email and CRM platforms that store our list of contacts and prospects.
  • Project tools we use to run the studio, file storage, scheduling, communication.

03 Why we collect it

  • To run projects (the actual work we're paid to do).
  • To respond when you contact us.
  • To invoice and get paid.
  • To improve the site (analytics that tell us what's slow or broken).
  • To send our newsletter to people who asked for it.
  • To meet our legal obligations: tax records, contracts, that sort of thing.
  • To protect the studio against fraud, abuse, or legal claims.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making, profiling, or targeted advertising. We don't train AI models on it. We don't sell it. See Policy 07 for the full AI training position.

04 Who we share it with

  • Hosting and infrastructure providers.
  • Analytics providers (listed in the Cookie Policy).
  • Email and CRM platforms used to manage our contacts and send the newsletter.
  • Payment processors when you pay us.
  • Project collaboration tools, file storage, scheduling, messaging.
  • Subcontractors when a project requires them, always under written confidentiality.
  • Legal and accounting professionals when needed.

We will share information if required by a valid legal process, a subpoena, court order, or government investigation. We try to give you notice when we can.

We do not sell personal information to anyone. Full stop.

05 How long we keep it

  • Project files and deliverables: retained for 90 days after project completion, then archived. Working files purged after 1 year unless we agree otherwise in writing.
  • Client contact records: kept for the active relationship, plus 7 years for tax and contract record-keeping (Arizona standard).
  • Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe, plus a brief suppression record so we don't accidentally re-add you.
  • Website analytics: typically 14 to 26 months, depending on the provider. See the Cookie Policy.
  • Inquiry-form submissions: 2 years.
  • Payment records: 7 years (tax requirement).

06 Your rights

  • Right to know: ask us what we have on you.
  • Right to access: get a copy of it.
  • Right to correct: fix anything that's wrong.
  • Right to delete: ask us to erase it (subject to legal retention requirements above).
  • Right to opt out: tell us to stop using it for marketing.
  • Right to portability: get your data in a format you can take elsewhere.
  • Right to withdraw consent: change your mind any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@cmykink.io or use the request form (see Policy 13). We respond within 45 days.

07 Children

Our services aren't directed to children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you're a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided information to us, contact us and we'll delete it.

08 Security

We use reasonable physical, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information: encrypted connections, access controls, reputable vendors, written confidentiality with subcontractors. No system is perfect. If a breach happens that affects you, Arizona law (A.R.S. § 18-552) requires us to notify affected residents within 45 days of discovering it. We will.

09 International visitors

We operate from Arizona. If you're visiting from outside the United States, your data will be transferred to and processed here. By using the site, you consent to that transfer. United States law may offer different privacy protections than your home jurisdiction.

10 Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we update the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes get flagged prominently on the site or by email. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept it.
